Hi! My name is Kelly and I'm a Chicago-land wedding planner with my own business, Events By Kell. I started this blog for a few main reasons. One being to showcase some of my wonderful clients, their love story, and how together we made their big day a dream come true. I also wanted to add some DIY tutorials for those of you out there wanting to add your own touch to your wedding decor and save some money in the process. I'll be sharing some tips and tricks for weddings, relationships, and planning events. Last but not least, I want to give you a glimpse into my everyday life and what all I do. Cheers!

- I make an obscene amount of lists
- I feel naked without nail polish on
- I act and model part time throughout the Chicago-land area
- "Coffee before talkie" is one of my life mottos
- I love cooking and eating healthy but hate having to work out
- I'm a total hopeless romantic
- I love the coast so much and yet I live in the Midwest, go figure
- I grew up doing musical theatre and dance and still LOVE seeing shows as often as possible, especially if my friends are in them
- I'm a huge black hawks fan
- I graduated from Columbia College Chicago
